The general public are led to believe in the integrity and honesty of scientists; and that the purpose of science is the disinterested pursuit of objective truth. Unfortunately this is by no means the case. Many – possibly the majority – of scientists are perfectly prepared to sell their “scientific” opinion to the highest bidder, and to distort the truth, and lie outright for cash. Doctor Josef Mengele conducted horrific experiments upon prisoners at Auschwitz Concentration Camp. He was pursued by Nazi-hunters, but evaded capture. It is a very sad fact that Mengele was only following a fine and hallowed tradition in science of conducting horrific and unethical experiments upon humans.
Scientists, even in modern times, in England and America, have conducted cruel and horrific experiments upon unwilling or unsuspecting (human) “patients” (or “subjects”). In general members of the scientific community have either been complicit or remained silent in regard to these appalling contraventions of human rights (presumably out of fear of reprisals and persecution as “whistle-blowers”). EVOLUTION; A CASE STUDY IN SCIENTIFIC DOGMATISM.
The Theory of Evolution has absolutely no scientific basis whatsoever. Scientists accept this theory for reasons that have nothing to do with science. Evolution has become a dogma – an ideology – which no scientist dares to question, since to do so would end their career in science. I mean this quite literally. Any academic scientist who questions evolution is considered to be a “whistle-blower” – a “traitor”, and is automatically “terminated”, their grants revoked, their tenure cancelled, their academic career demolished. Because of these draconian reprisals, scientists pay lip service to pseudoscience.
The reader may think that I am exaggerating here.
